I was born and raised in a village called Kaprobu in Uasin Gishu County, went to the nearby Kaprobu primary school after which i went to Loreto High School Matunda , then joined University of Nairobi where i did B.COM specialized in Procurement and supply chain Management and currently working at Moi University.

When did you starting doing music professionally and what was the influence behind your entry ?

I started music officially in June 2015. I recorded my first song Ayileleh (Wedding Song),   and from my close friends, my husband, relatives also the producer I got lots of encouragements telling me that was a big step the song is good so I should continue recording, and  that was the beginning of this great MINISTRY.

The big influence behind my entry to music was my husband, he kept pushing me to sing, “go and record a song you are capable of doing it” this were his words . Without his support I wouldn’t be this far above all  I thank God for giving me this talent and opportunity to minister through music.
Did your growing up model you to what you are doing now ?

Yes, when I was a little girl we had a family choir, my Dad loved singing and  he wrote over 30 songs which he recorded one album #TBT “combat”. We used to go and sing in church, so I can say it modeled me.

Which song served as your breakthrough into the music industry ?

Ayileleh, this was my first song.
Unlike other artist who base their songs into national language ,you do sing in kalenjin ,what has the  reception been?

So far I can say, my fans appreciate it and they are giving me  a great support, because my aim is to spread the Word of God, doing it in my first Language makes them to understand better than a second language, but with time I will do other  languages.

Who is your role model ?

Emmy Kosgei  her songs  have a great message and touches my heart so much.I am hoping God will one day give me the favour to do a collabo with her.
In terms of targets listeners, whom do you want your songs to reach most?

For now I do kalenjin songs so am hoping the Kalenjin Community at large will be reached.

But am yet to sing in other languages too  so that I can spread the gospel to everyone.

Competition is part and parcel of an healthy industry ,have you ever been nominated or even won an award? If any which one?

Not Yet

In conclusion what advise do you offer fellow musicians?

To my fellow musician, lets us not drift away from our aim “Spreading the Word”.Lets seek Gods guidance in everything we do and he shall uplift us to a higher glory.
